Who is HowToDVDPro?

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Dave Arthur. I have been
involved in television and video production for over 20 years. I
have worked in sports television, documentaries, feature films,
commercials, corporate video, and a lot of instructional and
special interest videos. I have also taught video production and
screenwriting in both the public school setting and in the
corporate environment. The moving image has been my passion for a
very long time.

I sometimes think back to the equipment we were using to create
television back when I started and compare that heavy, expensive
stuff to the digital gear that we use now. It is just astonishing
how much things have changed. I can honestly say that all of those
changes are for the better. This is a great time to be involved in
video production. The equipment is cheaper, easier to use, and far
more powerful. And video is exploding!

So now that you know who I am, you might be asking what this webblog is all about. Well, there are no gimmicks here. If you wish to continue to receive this free newsletter, then I am thrilled. We have a lot of cool tips to share that will help
you make and sell How-To and Special Interest Videos. We have more
offerings in the works and some pretty exciting developments on the
way that I can’t reveal at the moment. There will be a lot more on
these coming features in future issues.
